wildfowler.250
I was just wondering if anyone could possibly answer a few questions for me When your putting in for a variation do you/how many pictures do you need signed? if you have a co-terminous cert. already does putting in for a variation make them uncoterminous? (havent filled out the whole SGC form again... ). And I understand you dont need to get the references filled out for a variation? And lastly, if you are applying for a gun for vermin shooting/deer stalking ect do you have to specifically put down "target shooting" aswell if you plan to use it at a range or is that just assumed anyway for zeroing purposes and so on ? Sorry for all the basic questions but these forms are a bit of a pain in the bum!
Baldrick
Variations do not require you to submit photos or details of any referees, and do not alter the coterminous timing. It's usual to be permitted to zero the rifle on approved ranges (or whereever you're entitled to shoot), in connection with a hunting rifle's primary use. If you want to shoot targets on a regular basis, also apply for a target shooting condition.

Can confirm this is correct having only yesterday telephoned my firearms deptarment to ask the same identical question!!!!
