taz24
any of you guys visit this place if so whats it like ? Yes I go there about once a month. It is a very friendly club and the clays are challenging and varied. It is in a disused quarry and starts at 10.00 hrs. There is about 20 to 30 most Sundays and they split into two squads and then swap over after the stand has been shot. There are some very good shooters there who are competative but who will help you improve your score. The banter is good and you will do well to take your sense of humour with you. I have joined the club this year and became a member but it is still cheap to shoot there. Its about £15 for non members for carts and 50 clays. Cheers taz . taz24
cheers is it ok for a newbie or is it more for experienced shooters I went there on my own after only shooting for 3 or 4 months. So I was very inexperienced and was made to feel very welcome. The stands are very shootable and a few people often hit more than 40 out of the 50 clays loosed off, My best is about 26 out of 50 so still room for improvement. If you are a novice you will be fine there, if you are experienced you will be fine there. Cheers taz. .
Ferret Master
I believe Peter Peter frequents the place. FM
