Horrocks
Right, i popped into a gunsmiths today and bought some federal V-shok's (.17g), ive been using Hornady ammo of the same weight, and am aware its all manufactured by CCI, what i want to know is if anybodies found any differences in the ammo, the loads seem to weigh the same too, and whether one fires better than the other, because the price is certainly different...... Thanks again. H
magman
Federals worked in my rifle when it was new but after 500 rounds the hornady knocked spots of them The more i shoot it the better it gets
Horrocks
Thats interesting, i wonder what the difference between the two names would actually be, whether ones slightly better made than the other.....

Horrocks
i think its the winchesters and one other that are the ones not made by cci, remington, cci, hornady and federal all are, but according to the wiki, they're made to v slightly diff specs. though they seem to weigh the exact same
