old rooster Posted April 18, 2005 Report Share Posted April 18, 2005 (edited) Well I did it, bit the proverbial bullet and bought one of the cheapo supposedly Tasco sights on ebay. It's just arrived and seems fine, need to get different mounts as they are for wider dovetails than my Axsor (which are 1/2") It's a 6-24x50 scope with illuminated reticule with a lazer sight thrown in. Can't be bad for a penny short of 50 squid ? Will let you know how it performs once I can find some mounts, they need to be 40mm from dovetail to centrline of scope to fit a 25mm tube if anyone knows a good source.
