and what do people find it like shooting over it as in good shooting , easy to pick up in and so on ?

Any help would be great so i can work out if to go and have ago as have other work on !

Tom ,

Its no different to shooting any other crop . If it was drilled 3 weeks ago it will only be a few inches high and no problem to pick your birds up . It dosent get very high when mature but can be very tight and difficult to find birds in . It should be at a nice juicy stage thats why the pigeons are having a go .

I have had some very good days on linseed in the past and they like it when the seed pods are well formed and will take the seed . My farmer no longer grows linseed so its a crop i havent shoot for a while .

Good luck enjoy yourself , Harnser .

As Harnser said you just set up the same as any other crop and it should not be that tall, but you will find once it starts to grow properly you will struggle to collect birds because it is not easy to walk through and birds can easily be hidden by it.

good luck and let us know how you get on. :hmm:
