eeskidmark
just had a bit of a walk about tonight trying to suss out where the pigeons are roosting and landing in the eve. came to this square patch of large 30ish foot pines very dense. the tips of the trees were still in the sunshine. thought id take a rest and wait here see whats happening and iv tried all month to get my first pigeon with an air rifle. bit of fluttering and i try to see where it lands. not sure if its the same one but another lands at the top of a tree. silouetted to the sky. THWAK.........WEEEEE. THUD! pellet went straight through the vital organs and there before me is my first one well chuffed. a bit of help with my standard issue terrier i looked in its crop when i got home and it was full of like phesent feed large seeds like barley. i live in lancashire so how far will these things travel to food and back because i dont know of anywhere that it could pick up this food it was a fatty

Egg
Nice one mate. Not long since back from a wee wander myself & the old saying is true: the sights you see when you've not got a gun. The place was hoaching with woodies and the rabbits were practically giving me the 2-fingered salute.
