RossEM Posted June 10, 2009 Report Share Posted June 10, 2009 Had a call from the farmer this morning to say the pigeons were hammering a couple of fields of re-drilled rape...so went down to have a look, sure enough there were loads on it. Looks like these two fields are the only ones the local woodies are feeding on for now, as they're surrounded by standing corn and pasture. Set up my 12 decoys and had a hectic couple of hours before the birds tailed off, finally picked up 32 (a personal best!) Hate to admit it but I missed quite a few!
