Windy
Was sat supping an extremely good pint of cask drawn Adnams yesterday evening, in a great little country pub down the road from me. The pub has a small meadow, and was watching about 8 woodies who were feeding at the far end of it. There behaviour was quite interesting....they seemed to be formed in two groups of four, and they remained almost completely symmetrical, whatever each group did. For example, started like this, two equally spaced lines in a shallow V: * * * * * * * * Then changed to this, same as before but with 4 birds tight and one bird out on the end: * * * * * * * * * * In both cases the spacing between each individual bird was the same between the two groups. On the diag the bottom line is spaced tighter due to the computer character settings. Just coincidence, or is it a Woody thing? Or.......should I have been concentrating on the Adnams more?!
