Beardo
Was out for a shoot last night, had my CZ452 wedged in between the wing mirror and on BJ's window bag as always. Never bumps around or rattles. BUT i was driving down a bit of covered path with my lights off and it must have caught on a tree. Crash bang wallop - CZ disappears backwards. I've put a huge gash in the pistol grip, big scratch on the front bell of the scope, bent the bipod, and loads of other little scratches all over it. Not had a chance to rezero and check it yet. Cosd
Ah mate, feel for you, I know how I felt/feel since I managed to get my barrels rusted up by storing in a damp gun slip!!
Baldrick
Aside from your bipod though, the damage sounds superficial. I dropped my CZ out of a tractor cab last year, and watched the stock splinter (that's the second stock I've broken in 18 months). Edgar Bros isn't too helpful with supplies of replacement stocks for CZs.
Beardo
a good nights sleep and it doesn't seem so bad, fingers crossed the scope's all right. it's a synthetic stock thankfully so even the gouges don't really affect it. and yeah i'm off down the pub in a mo
