darren m
anyone got any experience with this? took my 8 month springer out on sat , gave her a few water retrieves , etc , went for a long walk and she dried off , then as we passed by the stream sent her in again for a few more befor going back to the car. this was her first experience swimming ( paddled before ) and she loves it . problem - later that evening her tail is limp and kinked , i tried to have a look but she just yelped and ran off , obvisiously causeing her some pain . had a quick internet search on tail injurys and came up with possible cold water tail today monday shes a lot better , but just wondering if anyone else has had similar happen to there dog . thanks
WGD
It's happened to my lab before, nothing to worry about but painful for the dog. Metacalm can help it if the dog's in distress but it will sort itself in a few days.
