Guest RemmySPS
Don’t make the mistake of buying a crappy air rifle like the smk b3. It may seem a cheap option, but that’s because it is a cheap and bloody awful rifle. Save your pennies and get a better one. Just had a look around and you can buy a Weihrauch 99 for £190 Edited June 20, 2009 by RemmySPS

huntercarbine
as said above dont consider cheap chinese guns (smk), they're cheap for a reason. £275 sounds about right for a lightning xl(kibworth have got a 2nd hand one for sale, check website), or you'l get an older style lightning a bit cheaper about£210. Look at Gamo's as well, good value for money. hw95 and 99 are good lightweight rifles as well, but if its a lightning you want b patient and you will find one at the right price. good luck fella! Markio
Just bought an Lightning XL & Scope 2nd hand from here for £180 delivered. Is it pricey? Well not for a quarry gun and when you factor in the ammo (i'm used to shotguns) it's all damn cheap.

westy1946
I have 2 Lightnings .177 &.22. I consider that they are the cream of the middle of the road springers. I have converted the .177 to gas strut giving it a more regular shooting pattern ft/lbs and are less noisey than a regular springer, esspecialy with the built in moderator. I am now waiting for a gas strut for the .22 it,s a great little gun well worth the pampering
