BSA-airgunner
well it was the second wednesday again and as a few select know its time for a small band of us real men to gather in the woods to engage with each other in the humble art of killing clays....................(or just firing off a few warning shots at them ) there is a small club that does not advertise or shout loud about its self and to be honest thats what makes it good..we turn up we chat have a laff and get to shoot in a safe but fun enviroment.so i got LUCKY_SHOT fired up (after all he has got his new gun)and got hold of RASCAL_2005.....who i picked up just after 6pm...we drove to the area abot 9 miles away got parked up and met up with a few of the regulars.MGOO who runs the shoot with the help of a guy named IAN (thats RASCAL_2005's friend)showed you somthing special i here RASCAL_2005........any way the evening started and i think we got throuh 600 clay's with some good shooting and the banter was up to a high standard as usual i managed to splat a few as did every one .and there was five new faces who all looked a bit bemused by it all but by the end they had setteled in and were giving the knock down targets a real bad time...........so it got round to 9pm and with no more clays to scare every thing was cleared away and we departed. earlyer i had spoken to LUCKY_SHOT and decided to take the BSA XL's with us to have a bash with well we didnt get time so on the way home a quik detour to the farm we shoot and see'ing as i had the newly built lamp on board seemed the right thing to do..and i had to talk RASCAL_2005 round (not)...we got to the first field which is new to us and fortunatly all of what we have is drive'able.so lamp in hand i drove and LUCKY_SHOT rode shotgun with the air rifle..but as this set up is some what new to us it was more of a fact finding mission to see the best way to work this set up . from there we moved on to the next two fields these are by far the biggest and it took a good 1 1/2 to get round these but we blanked there as i recon the bunnies had been spooked by the fox we saw in the lamp light so by then the time was getting on and we shot back to the first field to be greeted by a bunny carpet and made short work of a further three ..............well happy.............RASCAL_2005 had a go a ride'ing shotgun and enjoyed it .........so of home and i got to my front door just before midnight...so all in all 6hrs of shooting heaven.............the lamp worked like a dream but the shroud seem's to knock a fair bit of power of the light but it does stop light spillage lighting up the truck...roll on the next time Edited June 26, 2009 by BSA-airgunner
