stupidsalmon
Went out for about an hour this afternoon and took with me my PCP and a couple of pigeon deeks. View from my hide(+ 2 decoys set out on field): Only managed two though but it was all good fun:
pigeon master
I have been contemplating going out decoying with the rimmy, I know some will say its not sporting, but every pigeon in range would be killed cleanly. I took my rifle out last time and decided to shoot one with it, I put the bullet just above its chest and it just slumped without a flicker, went in and took the heart and lugs straight out so it didn’t even know what hit it. Looks like a nice set up you have there buddy. The PM
stupidsalmon
yeh AAS400 with a an AGS elite 3-9*40. I like it. I dont know why anyone would say its not sporting becayse i will only shoot pigeons or any quarry when i know i can make a clean kill. I myself have never shot pigeons with a shotgun and cant really understand how you have clean kills with a random spray of shot that could hit anywhere. pigeon master
Your right, theres always a few that have plenty of life left in them after taking a load. I hate it when it happens but I get to the bird straight away, and stop shooting until I've found a runner. Hopefully my ESS will get them even quicker once fully trained.
