The_Craws
Nice one. Could I ask you how you find the S200? Is it pretty accurate and reliable? I'm thinking of getting one. Cheers
dunganick
nice bag someone i go rating and lamping with, has one, they are very accurate, however in the heat of the moment he very often get pelets double loaded or short strokes the bolt, its a very good system in the day, but come heat of the moment it seems a bit too easy to mess up this is an observation, and it might well be he is just very cack handed it also does not like certain pelets as these jam, but this is the case with many multishot airguns
stupidsalmon
I didnt realise you could get multishot S200's now. Is that a new version or have they made a multishot conversion kit. I might fancy one for my S200.
The_Craws
Yeh, I've looked into it. There is a kit that Air Arms produce that fits onto the receiver and it automatically cycles the magazine by the loading action. It can hold upto 10 pellets and costs about £65. Extra magazines cost about £13 because the magazine is'nt fixed to the mechanism. The quality is supposed to be good cause its an Air Arms product but the only thing the kit sits above the receiver so you may need to get higher mounts for the scope because it might not give enough clearance. I think there is a japanese kit thats about that is similar but is not automatic, it requires you rotate it automatically. There are also stainless or brass replacements for the plastic bolt and trigger found on the S200 Mk2. Jon-Boy
hey chaps, just got in from a night down the pub, the s200 is a bloody good, the 10 shot mag is a very good design, however you have to fire off all ten pellets before you can remove it. There is a trouble with lead pellets and the mag, if you are not careful with the bolt you can sometimes **** the skirt up, thats why i use tin pometheus dynamics, as they are hard as **** and dont distort. The s200 is as about as accurate as they come and as cheap. .177 is the way to go if you only want to shoot to as far as 45 yards. Any further and you wanna rimmy!!
