£19-95 to blot the vision with a device

£nothing to shut an eye.

Look for the target with two eyes open, close one to shoot it. Becomes totally automatic after a little practice, and if you have eye take-over problems, it should sort them out for you - but also try raising the comb first as this is often the only problem.

Thanks, i just read your other post and was also looking at a comb lifter and will try that with the pound coin trick and see how i get on. It was mentioned to me yesterday and am already researching something temporary until i can afford to have the gun fitted along with extending the stock.

I started with both eyes open, then tried the eye closing trick and started missing more particularly on skeet. I have now gone back to keeping both eyes open and am breaking more clays but after some advice it appears my gun mount\fit is far from ideal.

Cheers,

Jon.

I put one of these on my gun and then had a few lessons, the guy teaching me made me remove the sight and put the standard white blob back on, ever since then my hit rate has improved a lot! It was drawing my eye away from the target far too much so you spend all your time looking at the fluorescent blob and not at what you're trying to hit
