roughshooter Posted July 20, 2009 Report Share Posted July 20, 2009 (edited) I have for sale a 12 bore side by side sidelock ejector manufactured by Ugartechea (Spanish) under the name of Parker Hale. I believe this was made circa 1980 - 1990 and is a high quality gun. The gun has had very little use and has a nice tight action, excellent strong ejectors, perfect blueing and has a pachmayer recoil pad fitted giving a lop of 14 1/2". The barrels are 27 3/4" and are game choked approximately True cylinder and quarter (Please note that this is measured with drop in guage and only gives an indication!). There are no marks on metal or woodwork and in fact appears as new. Stock is fairly straight and if anything possibly leans a little to the left so could easily be shot by a left hooker or a right. I bought this with the intention of using it for my game shooting and thinking that I could easily go back to a side by side after using an over under but sadly wjilst my mates shoot it extremely well my averages have dropped beyond embarrassment so am looking to sell it or trade/swap for a over under game gun. These guns new are being advertised on Guntrader for £1375 and a secondhand sidelock is priced at £995 - this has got to be a bargain at £550 or trade!!
