MPT1
My Mum is 93yrs young and we recently spotted a rat near her back door. Called in enviromental health officer who gave advice with blocking holes with glass in cement etc. We've put down poison and I have shot two. Funny really cos I'm shooting out of the same window now as I did 50years ago as a kid. My question is do I just pot away or do I bait up further down the garden to try and get them out in numbers further from the house?

Evil Elvis
Id forget about shooting them individually, Id concentrate on making sure they cant get in, that would be my primary objective, then Id invest in some decent poison, the cyanide cubes work brill, then try and locate thier burrows and place the poison closeby, if you find and obvious load of burrows, cover it in chicken wire, covering as many exits as possible and flood it with a hose, works wonders, be on standby with a gun or 2 and be ready for some fast and furious action!!
