Hi chaps,me and my mate live in the westmidlands,got in touch with the NPPC few years ago but land was along way off, has much changed as we could be interested in joining. Sport has really slowed down here any info would be helpfull.

There's some good land in the Birmngham area. I live in Birmingham and shoot there often. I also travel to the Leicestershire land where there is plenty. It only takes about 45 minutes to travel there from Birmingham.

Thanks Ferretmanabu, you say that there is plenty of land, what crops are in this area and whots the shooting been like?

when i emailed the chap that runs the show he told me that they had land in tamworth dont no whot the crops are

There are plenty of rape fields to shoot on. The shootings been okay this year bearing in mind that most people seem to have struggled on the rape this year. People have said there have been too many berries and things in the woods so the pigeons haven't really ventured far out.

Thanks again lads, we have had some great sport on rape here in Cov,bags of 100+ but sport stopped now as rape is much too high,wonderd if nppc had any peas over this way?

I`m sure you`ve spotted as John has that there`s little pea planting this year, but loads of beans which don`t interest pigeons when they`re growing. NPPC as a result has only a few pea fields. If you let John know of your interest and are available during the week you may get a call.
