fert Posted May 23, 2005 Report Share Posted May 23, 2005 im in the middle of making a automatic feeder for my pheasant shoot but i have come unstuck on where to get a timer unit from. there are plenty of timers about but i only need the feeder to go off twice a day and its finding one with the right delay. about six hours. can anyone shed any light on this subject. thanks in advance fert. Guest pigeonbasher Posted May 24, 2005 Report Share Posted May 24, 2005 regarding auto feeder, i remember seeing on a holiday program, they made a device, to feed pond fish while on holiday, out of a kitchen clock, hole drilled on face of clock , clock sitting on two pieces of timber across pond, i cant remember how it worked, but basicley all they did was pile food on clock face & every hour the big hand knocked food through hole &fed fish hope you can improve on this but thats the general idea, cheers p/b Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
