KillStone Posted December 12, 2009 Report Share Posted December 12, 2009 as to how many i just keep adding but i tend to thicken up the sides of the pattern obviously not tail to beak but sensible spaced to give a denser blue patch on the ground i often just put the wings together and place the bird on the ground. one day i started with around 30 artificial deeks and ended with a pattern of around 130 bird + the original artificials and the birds seemed to like it. for me it seems like a cycle: the more you shoot the more in the pattern the more commit the more you shoot.... thats my theory, but its whatever is working on the day rele.
