Beardo
this is in the latest Westfalia mailshot. Raptors yes, but since when does a corvid decoy scare off a pigeon?
Benellimelody
Ha, yeh its a good one that like. Sometimes when decoying i find if you put out a few crow decoys next to a pigeon pattern it can put the pigeons off a bit but not very often really. Regarding Birds of prey decoys - I was driving through a town the other day and saw somebody had put a Large Eagle owl decoy on their roof. This was presumabley to scare off pigeons but didn't seem to work in this case as their was about 10 ferals sat next to it
Lez325
The advert there seems to say its a RAVEN which is a huge bird and they do eat Pigeons Maybe the Pigeons don't know that- as I often include a corvid decoy in my wood pigeon decoys, which seem to do no harm and I still get bnirds into the kill zone Les
Benellimelody
The advert there seems to say its a RAVEN which is a huge bird and they do eat Pigeons Ravens are a fair bit bigger than a carrion crow but would only eat dead pigeons. Never heard ov one killing a pigeon

DustyIrl
I do always have two corvids near my pigeon decoys. Always drew in both, but yesterday i shot nothing only crows and the pigeons wouldnt come in. Got a few circle the decoys only two fly off again. I shot 30 crows and thought that this might be stopping them landing
anser2
I have found if I have a magnet out with dead pigeons on it crows avoid the decoy spread and hide. But with just pigeon decoys out crows will often fly overhead.
mr salt
someone will buy them, but they will not work. you would only end up with more birds, not less. Good thinking from the sales team even tho its a lie. scott
