Condor
I've just got a contract to work away from home for an extended period, returning only on weekends. Initially living in B&B then hopefully in rented accommodation. Question is: I want to be able to practice dry mounting between weekend shooting sessions - I suppose in rented accommodation I can fit a small take-down safe temporalily, but is there any other legal way I can keep a shotty with me when away from home? I was considering one of those lockable gunslips as an option. My car will be securely parked at work but I will obviously need to go shopping now and then - considered a vehicle safe, but not sure how to fit one as the spare wheel takes up the wheel well in the boot and I can't batten the spare wheel cover down with a safe on top of it for that reason. Any ideas???

Any ideas??? I used to store my guns at a local rfd whilst away from home, (I dont own a shot gun only rifles) you need to let your fao know where the weapon is being stored, the rfd will satisfy that requirment with a storage receipt for your fao, hope that helps, Edited August 10, 2009 by Fleabag
