Reg Pearce
Hi guys I'm looking for a cheap s/s in good nick (clean & tight) 12g preferred with 1/4 &1/2 chokes. This is for occasional use only so not looking to spend too much. Cheers, Reg

Reg Pearce
I'm thinking £300 but could stretch for the right gun. Cheers, Reg
fenn
pity you're so far south as I have a Biakal 12g s/s which is in excellent condition not a mark on it and i only wanted £120 for it. Too much hassle sending it via a dealer near me to a dealer near you.

Axel
Go for a Yeoman SS. Iv'e got 2 and paid £50 & £60 for them, Good, simple, reliable guns and spares freely available (ask any gunsmith). They normally come with 14 & 1/2" stock and half and full choke but can be bored out if needed (I've got mine Imp Cyl and -half; and half and full). Get a nice tight, clean one and it will last you years! Do try guntrader.co.uk Good Luck, Clipper Edited June 16, 2005 by Axel
Robster
I would be interested in pictures of the AYA or the English SBS. Robin

Guest Mr Pieman
I live in Battle, East Sussex. Series of pictures to follow. First the AYA Yeoman. 12 bore, straight stock with blued finish. 1/4 and 1/2 choke - in good condition and no pitting to the barrels or rust on the metalwork. Double trigger and non ejector. Guest Mr Pieman
Next, the little English gun by Atkinson & Son of Kendal. 12 bore, straight stock, 28in barrels, double trigger, non ejector. Again, very clean and well looked after little gun. Again, I think choked 1/4 and 1/2. The metalwork is finished in a deep black and maintains its original colouring.
