for RWS read FX airguns not sure of the model name but they also used to make air rifles for logun/webley and have a long standing relationship with BTAS[ben Taylor of theoben].they are swedish made and have a reasonable reputation, not much personal experience of them so as to how much they are worth i dont know :hmm::rolleyes:

RWS are not swedish - though the airrifles may well be made there.

RWS stands for Roessler Waffen Austria, and are a very well respected company (they make a lot of barrels for people and also the Titan rifles),

The air rifle side of their business is also known as Diana AFAIK

the rws scimitar is/was made for rws by fx airguns of sweden.yes rws/diana products are very high quality, hence products made for them should also be of similar quality.in my post i think i worded it slightly wrong hence the confusion.either way i wouldnt be worried about build quality or the standard of engineering :yes::good:
