Tobyb525
How far into myxi does a rabbit have to be to be unsafe to eat?? I had six yesterday. One had bad bulging eyes. The others had bald spots and pink lumps and growths. I chucked them away as the dog was due to eat them and I don't want her eating bad meat Toby

shot shot
The meat is safe to eat. May be a bit weird to eat yourself, but for the dog it would be fine

Diceman
Another 6 mixy rabbits for my 410 this weekend, never known so many on our few acres. They are just shuffling round the field or on the track, not much sport but hate to see them like this. Make sure you burn the carcases or they will keep spreading it. ryantidgwell
farm i shoot as had a big out break getting more and more of them now with it ! shot one the other day was a huge rabbit went and picked it up and its eyes was like golf balls manky scabs all over it and big pink lumps ! was a shame as that would have been a good pot filler
