thinxs
I know it's been asked before but cann't find it in the search engine. How do you cure a foxes tail?
Beardo
first of all, don't cut the whole tail off. score round the base of it, just cutting the skin. then get some baling string, and tie it round. pull the string so it strips the brush and skin from the flesh below. it should pull off with a sort of pop. then you have a nice flesh free hollow tail. fill with salt and hang in a cool dry place for a week or so. bigbird2
Hello m8..firstly you have to score around the base of its tail about 2inchs from its ***.. then with 2 sticks in 1 hand trap the tail between the sticks and squeeze together with some force and then pull brush off the tail bone leaving just the bone and muscle .. you should now have a complete brush in tact..soak this in meths for 3 weeks completely submerged..once removed from meths wash with soapy water and leave to dry on missus washing line ..had some funny looks of neighbours a few times... all the best.. :(
