JonnyR
I am hoping to shoot a couple of fields of beans later this week. Does anyone have any experiences or tips they can share - time of day, patterns to use, bouncers, magnets etc etc. There is a definate flight line over one of the fields and woods all around so hide positioning should be ok especially now that everything else is either stubble or ploughed in. cheers,
MerseaDavid
Shoot it the same as you would on any stubble. Always make sure you are under the flightline. A normal U shape pattern should work well and a bouncer or Magnet will help aswell, but dont rely on the magnet because you may end up taking it in because some times the pigeons dont like it. try to get the wind in you back if you can or coming from the side, this will make the birds easier to decoy and shoot. Dont have your decoys too close together 2-3 feet will do. You shall have to experiment on the day because you never know what the birds will do. Good luck mate
