big dave
There is a lot of confusion over the identification of this family of animals and it's really quite simple. "Whats the difference between a ferret and a polecat?" "One is 'weasely' recognisable and the other is 'stoatly' different!" Or :*) Perhaps it's the way I tell 'em... RTD Its the way you tell em mate
tiercel
I live in an area that has wild Polecats. I usually see one or two run over each year I keep my eye's open as my mate is a taxidermist. One thing i have noticed with wild hobs is that they are only the size of a medium sized domestic hob. Of course that in itself is not conculsive, it may just be that they are immature, that would explain their being run over.
