magnetandsteel Posted September 14, 2009 Report Share Posted September 14, 2009 Live sand eel are deadly, easiest way is tie a boom to your main line with the weight attached. Braid is ideal lets you use minimum amount of weight. Then tie swivel with a length of flurocarbon, between 5 and 10 foot length, circle hook size 2 I use and hook eel through eyes. You will miss a few with the circle hooks but any that aren't big enough go back easily. Don't strike let the fish hit the bait and lift into it.
