Diceman
I have seen it suggested elsewhere on this site that if I buy a replacement cabinet for my shotguns it will need to be inspected after fitting by the FEO before I can use it. Is this correct? Ta

jimmyb79
I changed to a larger cabinet recently and rang the firearms dept (Kent Police) to check this - got put through to my FLO who said that he'd better come and just check. He was round in literally 45 minutes and then upped my gun allowance to six (was originally 4), but never did bottom out whether it was a legal requirement to notify them of the change in cabinet. Makes sense to keep them posted in any case I think.
triscrx
I had a house alarm fitted last year and informed them and they came over just to check that too. Basically any change at all to your security and its best to inform them
