Floating Chamber
Right, where do I start? I have three 9000s (2 in 12 gauge, the other in 28 gauge) The older 12 gauge suddenly started acting up and would not let the handle be pulled down until the 'closure bottom' of the collet assembly was manually raised about 2mm. Then, after 2000 or so cycles, it wouldn't move at all. I have replaced the roller cam and tried all sorts of adjustments. I have compared the workings and settings with the other two and I cannot see what is wrong; it's about to be chucked out of the window! Can anyone know what the hell is wrong? I am now using my 650s and supersizer but it's SLOW going! FC Edited September 18, 2009 by Floating Chamber

Andy H
I think this will be a question to shotgunworld.com on the reloading forum ,As they have more expertise on this subject than most.
Mec 9000
Had this problem once and it was caused by something stuck up the one of the crimp dies. Don't know what else would cause it. Gerry
Floating Chamber
On this MEC, all but the de-prime and re-prime station have been removed. The press is used for the speedy preparation of re-sized and primed cases. I'm going to look again at the collet assembly, roller-bearing and return bracket area. I'll be on to S/G World tonight! Cheers! FC Edited September 19, 2009 by Floating Chamber
