Update guys- with the assistance of Cranfield- UKSW have just telephoned me and will supply me with METAL mounts to replace the plastic ones on my Hypaflaps- apparently suppliers are using plastic mounts instead of metal ones :hmm:

UKSW have insisted on metal mounts in future :yp:

Thanks to Cranfield for your help - youre a true gent and of course many thanks to UKSW for the new mounts what a splendid company- customer service second to none- I shall be using them again in the future

so all in all job sorted :D

Yes I agree- seems they had have other members with similar problems, since the introduction of the plastic threaded mounts- still they are onto it now and my new metal mounts should be arriving any day- :good:

I will just need to paint them as they are bare metal- a lick of green and brown matt paint should sort that out- then back on the magnet

so everyones happy  B)

Thanks again to Cranfield for making the telephone call without me asking and UKSW for being such an understanding supplier and rectifying a problem (free of charge I might add )

Highly recommend them to PW members

Cheers

Les
