smiiithy
Trying to find the name of / a particular post about a type of long net that can be put in place and left for the rabbits to get used to and come out of there burrows. The net can then be dropped, I believe by pulling a string and the bunnies sitting in the field can no longer get back to their burrows. Are these drop nets or something else? I’ve tried searching for the post but can’t find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Mike

smiiithy
They look like a bit of a head-blag to set without hand's on training from somebody with experience, what do you think? Looking at the lay of the burrows yesterday I'd imagine we'd be just as well off with a few good quality purse nets? Hezbear
I can set them mate but haven't done it for a few years, them sets are hard to do with purse nets as they are in the hedge row, we will be ferreting another place before long but can't take guns and this place is even worse as its in the open but heavy with cover we'll need a couple of hundred purse nets for there
smiiithy
Can't see the pictures at work mate but will have a look when I get home. I really like the sound of the drop nets, can see how they would work well in many situations. Will see if I can find anyone who hand makes good quality nets for a reasonable price. Probably not enough hang on most of the commercial made long nets.
