spudgun666
hello all. i took the plunge and got my new gun a rizzini 12g over and under.(went to get a lanber orginally but shot with the rizzini and the lanber and the rizzini felt much better). anyway it's second hand and altough in great condition the engraving and side plates look a bit sad and dull,so whats the best stuff to get a shine and clean out the engraving. also any tips on cleaning and stuff to use, i got a tetra cleaning kit but any other bits of advice would be great. thx Edited September 20, 2009 by spudgun666
arjimlad
I had an E Rizzini sideplate and the sideplates always looked tarnished. You could try Silvo, or (with care) Auto Glym's paint restorer if you were really bothered about it. I tried Silvo and it seemed to work but they soon tarnished again. I even tried very gentle rubbing with finest grade wire wool and light oil. I shot well with that gun which was a present on passing my GCSEs in 1988.
