smiiithy
I'm using a .22 BSA Tactical XL with a Hawke Eclipse 3 - 9 x50 scope. Can anybody tell me the ideal range I should be zeroing at and the appropriate mildot's to use for longer or shorter ranges after zeroing? Currently got it zeroed at about 25 - 30 yards for the centre but haven't started using the mildots for appropriate ranges. Hezbear
25 - 30 yards is a good zeroing range and using the mildots for different ranges will depend on the pellets flight path, next time we are out we can stick some targets up at different distances if you want and you can learn that way, 1st target 10 yards, 2nd 15 yards, 3rd 20yards and so on. It's always worth a bit target practice anyway at the start of the day to get your eye in.
Lez325
sound advice as a .22 pellet trajectory is loopy to say the least especially at sub 12ft/lbs power levels Les
