barrie0
What is the best general shim to use on the al391 , I know it can depend on the shooter but after taking out and regreasing the recoil spring I noticed the shim in mine was set to sx (left handed shooter) and 55 drop which makes sense as I thought it had been shooting a bit high . So I have now set it to dx 60 drop and can see the bead just above the one pound coin trick so this make it shoot flatter hopefully . I have been shooting well with the gun on the clays and woodies etc but never realized it was set for a left hander ! . But I was curious as to what you guys have found best . ernyha
Using the shims that came with my 391, (Dont remember the numbers) I set mine to maximum cast off and drop, this setting suits me fine.
barrie0
Thanks Ern , seems dx 60 drop suits me fine as the crows and woodies can testify today .
