i used a 2.5-10x42 varmint on a superten, its a very good scope and has got lots of toys but it adds alot of weight to the gun. I would have a look at the BSA contender its the same spec scope but it comes with a sun shade which is very useful for lamping or field target.

You can get a pistol called a crosman ratstopper its the same as a pistol but its got a stock fitted to it, but its got more than enough power to kill rats.

If you look at the mossberg website its under Maverick shotguns it`s the gun at the top of the page. It is also in the Deben catalogue. I will try and borrow a digital camera from work and take a picture.
