A New Book

While out purchasing a roll of fence from the farm supply yesterday, I bought a new book called;

 

Basic Butchering of Livestock & Game....by, John J Mettler Jr., DVM

 

Now I have been butchering for more years than I care to remember but this book is very well written and informative covering the correct way of killing, cleaning, and skinning, as well as all of the basic cuts for taking the animal to your freezer and plate. As i said it is very well written and very well illistrated, covering beef, veal, pork, lamb,poultry, rabbit, and venison.

 

Deffinately recommend this one as a 10 out of 10 for anyone interested.
