bennyblanco
best kind of NV set up imho(unless you can afford to have top end dedicated weapon sights on a couple of dedicated rifles) mine is a gen2+ bought from soviet bazaar and its brilliant. you will need a laser illuminator and a day scope that can be focused. they become very natural to use after a few hours in the field and the only problem i get is lower back ache from prolonged scanning. if you have the cash then contact either of these chaps for some advise http://www.nightvisionsuppliesltd.co.uk/ http://www.nightvisionsupplies.co.uk/ both are good friends (with me-not each other  ) ben

grasshopper
Click on the link,on the home page there,s a list on the left..4th one up from the bottom..the one that says "contact details and price list"  Have no trouble shooting it,you get used to it in no time and the bipod really helps as you don,t need to have your steadying arm as far forward. bacchus180
to solve the problem of ungainly falling off the end of your stock.. you can always use a pad to extend it, or alternatively get a weaver rail to mount your scope to, then have two zero settings, one for day use, then one with the scope placed further forward for night use. I use a monocular device and to be honest.. its brillant in terms of quality .. seeing in the dark. but in terms of handling its a right pig... very unbalanced and clumsy. for choice I would rather have a dedicated night scope with decent mag on it.
