chrispti
Just wondered if anyone has used or owns one of the above mentioned rifles. Any experiences / views etc welcome. Cheers Chris
Oly
Never used one, but from what I have seen they are great guns. Many on here don't like Savage, but my advice would be to go out and find one and make your own mind up.

jcbruno
although i dont own one they are made here in Canada and from what i have seen they are every bit as good as a CZ i would only consider there rimfire rifles as they make not the best quality in centerfire, but at a recent fun competition i saw a few guys with savage bench 22lrs fair quite well against anchutz, sako, and cooper, on average they did aswell as CZ and alot better then Ruger
chrispti
Thanks for that JC. Would I be right in assuming that the sako quad .17 is a better rifle than the savage 9317 btvs .17?
mickeylove
Cant comment on your rifle but I havent had any problems with my savage ( I think its a mk 2) a.nd the finish is better than my mates cz

roger
Went out Saturday with intention of buying a BTVSS, been reading up about them, it looked the business and felt better than any gun I've ever had, then I picked up the Quad synthetic price £430 new. Walked out with Quad. Try a few and make uo your mind Roger
