  1. Oh ok I'll see if I can try one thanks Rich
  2. Thanks for the replies, I've got a threaded adapter for the barrel and tried my .22 rimmy Parker hale one but I'm guessing it needs to be bigger in diameter to take the air? I don't really know
  3. Morning all, forgive me if this has been asked a million times, but I couldn't find another post for this. I was after any ideas on the best moderator/ silencer for my early mk1 rapid 7 running at 32ftlbs at full power, as the current one is really loud, any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advanced
  4. These are two pics of the whole gun not sure how the will look http://imgur.com/wHn80Bz and http://imgur.com/2cCy8J3
  5. I haven't bought them as an investment or anything like that I was jus curious, I gave £250 for the two pictured and a 28g single barrelled folding gun with over 200 cartridges and a few other bits
  6. http://imgur.com/uLov4hg and http://imgur.com/qmXYych bet this don't bloody work
  7. Ok thanks ill give it a try
  8. That's a fair point but to be honest there isn't very much more info I can give without knowing what I'm looking at there is a few other numbers and bits on the guns but its mainly cartridge size I think I can't see a model number or anything like that, I can email pics if it will help
  9. Good evening everyone hope you are all well, I was looking for some help with a couple of old shotguns I've just brought, I was wondering if anyone could tel me the age and rough value of them both, they are both in pretty good condition with the tiniest of pitting inside the barrels, the first one is a BSA side by side 12g serial number 14696 the second is a laurona side by side 12g serial number 68964 I can't attach the photos as they are too big but can email if anyone can help. Thanks in advance
  10. The trouble is they travel from all over the country for hare coursing and they bet a hell of a lot of money on their dags catching hares. I've got friends that shoot at them, well near them enough with rifles to scare them away and it seems to work, but these ***** aren't very nice people, a local game keeper tried tackling a few a while ago and got a good hiding and his back slashed with a Stanley and his buildings and vehicles burnt out. I personally think they should be classed as vermin with no minimum calibre and shot on site as they don't have any respect for anyone or anything, they cause a fortunes worth of damage to crops and fences and anything else that gets in their way of gambling thousands on catching a few hares and get away with it, it's a joke!, it's a shame we all didn't have the balls to club together and take it into our own hands and drive them all out. Any way that's my rant over, I fu##ing hate ******!!
  11. Thanks for all your help chaps I will have a look at them next month and see how I get on thanks again
  12. hi all fogive me if this similar question may have been asked before, but i have been offered two sxs 12g shot guns one is a bsa serial number 14696 and the other is a laurona serial number 68964, i have absolutley no idea about these two guns, as to there age or models so does any one on here know what sort of age they are from just the serial numbers, i think they are fairly old guns, they are both in good nic and not sure what they would be worth paying for, and also what are the guns like as guns i.e build quality ect. thanks all
  13. hi all, i am after some info on NV rifle scopes if any one could help, what is the best make? and where to get one from a shop rather than online, i want it for fox shooting as a good number of foxes in my area are lamp shy due to wa**ers with lamps and dogs chaseing them.
  14. i bought just a few to try and they do go into the rifle ok apart from the last bullet in the mag for some reason it just pings out which i can live with, just wanted to know if it was safe to use in the trees as that will be all it is for (rooks, pidgeons, tree rats ect) cheers
  15. hi, i have a sako quad and have same problem with winchester ammo and i think it is due to the wax coating on the bullet it doesnt do it all the time but it happens more often than not
