  1. *****SOLD (pending usual)********

Ruger M77 MKII VT (varmint target) in 22-250

Stainless heavy barrel, threaded 5/8" unvf (24tpi) and laminate stock. Two stage fully adjustable trigger (to 18oz) and three stage safety.

Overall the gun is 9.5/10 condition, recently recrowned (when rethreaded from 1/2") and bore scoped by gunsmith and declared to be in "very good condition".

The gun is always cleaned after every outing - whether one shot or five have been taken - and stored, moderator off, muzzle down. Cleaning is always full rodding with patches (not just bore snaked) and before putting it away I put one last patch through with gun oil - which I then bore snake clean before going out.

One holes home loads at 100 yards and sub 1" at 200.

Comes with two sets of Ruger stainless rings (1" and 30mm), 50 fire formed Remington cases, full info on developed loads and a .pdf manual.

For more info on the VT see http://www.egpworld.com/RUGERVT/default.htm or Google M77 MKII VT for Gun Mart and Chuck Hawkes opinions. S/H .204 equivalent on Guntrader is £1499 (with scope).

This rifle took over 90 foxes last year plus quite a few munties - pictures of typical 100 yard groups below (with homeloads and factory ammo). It is a better rifle than I am a shot.

    Scope & sling not included.

    Now £440

  2. Excellent scope. I just wish it had been for sale when I bought mine, new, a few months back when I couldn't find any.

Excellent price - bet this sells quick. £225 for an superb scope with a lifetime warranty!

    Good luck with the sale.

    Am I mad?? :good:

I had nothing to gauge the price on so any buyer will benefit from what it cost me in the US without mounts plus Butler Creeks.

Thanks for the input. It is a great scope - but I've pushed the boat out & bought a Swaro 8 x 56

  3. SOLD as Below.

    ...as above.

    In original BC box.

    Objective number 43 for 2.31 inches / 58.7mm

    Eye No 11 for 1.55 inches / 39.4mm

According to BC the tolerances are -0.01 / + 0.025 (inches, I assume).

In used, but not abused condition. Objective one needs to be tight (ish) fit or can sometimes be a little too keen to open!

  5. Hi,

I have a Rapid FAC but it's in .20 calibre. I'm sure Beds Firearms Licensing would change your slot (for free) as they have always been very helpful to me. PM me if interested and would like photos.

  10. Still available.... SOLD

With SAK mod, leather sling, scope & spare mag (£50!).

Only selling to get .17 Fireball that I can reload and take foxes with.

The rifle is in superb condition, never been really wet and always dismantled and oiled when it has got damp. No rust, no dinks on the metal work and very very few tiny dinks on the woodwork. Overall it is 95 / 98% as new.

The scope is Simmons WTC 6.5 - 20 x 50, waterproof, fog proof and shock proof, fitted with flip up Butler Creeks. Lightforce lamp clamp on the scope will not be included.

Two (four shot) mags (which means you can have one chambered round plus four) are included plus I have put group results at 35yard, 100 yard and 170 yard - all with Winchester supremes 17gr V-Max. I found that it shoots all ammo well but just that the Winchesters are better at range. If I miss - it is my fault.

Also included would be 1 full box of the Winchester Supremes, 1/2 box of Hornady blue tip 17gr and 1/2 box of the 20 Gr CCI's.

  11. Still looking for one and shopping around trying to get the insurance down to something less than astronomical.

    Even Adrian Flux was heavy.

I have the Scooby Forester 2 litre turbo auto.

I have previously owned 3 Range Rovers, 1 Disco and a LandCruiser (all from new) and the Scooby is the best of the lot. Mine will tackle ice, mud, running water and slippery rock without a murmur.

I have inadvertently slid all three Range Rovers (3.9, 4.2 and 4.6 Litre) but I cannot get the Scooby to go other than where pointed.

By far the best car I have ever owned and (with tweaking :good: ) it eats Porsche Boxsters (and my wife's Honda S2000) for breakfast. Don't worry about fuel consumption - drive it for MPG (miles per grin!!!) and then go mud plugging! It will also sit well into three figures (on Autobahns only, you understand!!) with a/c on full and on cruise control. Fantastic!

My insurance is very cheap (though I am an old ***!). No it is not for sale!
