  1. Sorry for lathe reply, only just seen this.

To answer your question. No. Varmint barrels are around 22+mm. Head stock bore is 20mm and between centres as about 22"

looks like ill be looking for a colchester student then, I thought boxford did an inch & a quarter spindle hole.

  2.

i did indeed see wot yu did bruther.... i am toying with the idea of attatching some blue LED's to it...so when i open it they come on..............what do you rekon..?......

im just waiting for Purdy to call me...as their retained designer..

Yo Bro ... lovin the LED's, but remember placement is key you need them visible when the guns at 45 degrees on its side for shotin gangster style maybe think about reshaping the stock to make it easier ......Whoe thats it ........ a pistol grip..... banging bro...

  3. Back to the dealer, (in the the eyes of the trading standards) EVEN if the car was OUT of warranty it is fair to expect a reasonable amount of wear before a mechanical failure occurs (which this certainly is not)

some dealers (I was a dealer) will chase the customer away knowing that they neither know the law or want a fight .... unfortunately this tactic works staggeringly well, in part because its a fuss to go to the trading standards agency and they need the car fixed quickly,.......TELL YOUR FRIEND TO PHONE THE TRADING STANDARDS FOR MORE SITUATION SPECIFIC ADVICE.

  4. To me there's a distinction between between a brilliant guitar player and a brilliant guitar player in a band, for instance steve vai played in whitesnake for a while he's certainly very talented but he ruined the feel of the music, bernie marsden on the other hand was in the original line up not as widdly widdly but had much more feel,

as David Coverdale put it you couldn't exactly whistle one of vai's solos, so in essence its not a good hook,..... it doesn't stick with you,........ plus it just looks like you pulling yourself off on stage ....lol

  5. i would agree if he said 300 yds

but 200 yd is a zero for any 222/223

1" high at 100 when I zero at 200 with any of the 40-60gr ammo I use in my .222

thats point and shoot at crows out to 220-250 (wind allowing!)

    Point taken,

  6. why not make it easy with a 204 flat, fast round?

222 & 223 are great but in my opinion judging drop is a great skill and a must have for a serious shooter but if you don't have to why do it (assuming your not only shooting at 200 yards)

disclaimer ... I respect the views of others this is just my view, I also realise a 204 is not the cheapest rifle to feed
