my dad caught this bloke up the wood one afternoon as we were going pigeon shooting. he had a lucher and he was using it to chase and catch the deer. My dad askes him what hes doing and tells him to get off this land, as my dad had his shotgun with him the bloke say your threatening me, dad pasted the gun to his mate and just said next time you up here with that dog bring a bag with you. What for the bloke said? Because you will be talking you dog home in it! Not seen him since and the word soon gets around!

Game Cover Crops
Pete The Poacher replied to Pete The Poacher's topic in Gamekeeping and Shoot Management
Well its going to go in between two woods, there is a wood then a field then another newly planted one, i was going to try and get the birds to fly from one to the other over the guns in the field in between. -
Is mustard any good as a game cover? Just wondering if anyone has tried it or uses it.

We have a 97 acre plot of woodland which is full of muntjac. The muntjac are doing alot of damage to new trees so im going to cull a few of them. Before i start the shooting i want to know where to get rid of them. Is there anyone local that wants one or two?i would like a bit of money for them but have no idea how much they are worth. Cheers

i am 16 years old and i have a shotgun certificate. My dad also has a shotgun certificate with 12 shotguns on it, he is thinking of giving his certificate up this time. Am i allowed to keep the guns at my house if they are on my certificate if my dad classed it as he gave them to me? Any help would be great thanks.
