  1. you can;t braze ally successfully ,welding is really the only option, lumiweld rods as stated would be the best if you have no experiance, your mig set would require special ally rollers and liner for the torch to feed the wire properly and if you have a tig set it has to be a ac/dc set has ally can only be welded using ac current . if a good job is reqd then maybe get a competent welder to sort it for you.

  2. relocating an alien non indiginous animal is illegal , if you look on the bds website of deer distribution in the uk you will see large gaps in the locations of the muntjac, you would assume an even spread northwards from the southern counties, this does'nt seem the case,so black ops might be going on, :good:

  3. I have recently purcahsed a tika .270 and found it a pleasure to use , the rem .243 hasn't been out of the cabinet since I bought it , get a t8 or similar on them and they are very civilised ,I use mine on everything and when hit they don't walk away, just shot my first fallow buck on monday with it, great experiance, highly recommend.

  4. this does happen, I know of one driven pheasent shoot in the northwest which charges £25 + vat for everything that hits the ground and is picked up , once the keeper even borrowed a shotgun off one of the guns to shoot a squirrel which was then added to the bag......................nooooooooooooo need for it.

  5. my wife is also 'cock handed' she also thought the emblem on the front of a jaguar car was a 'panther' and when I was installing some 'galvanised 'railings outside the house her mother asked if they had been 'vascectormised':good:?? don't think that would hold the rust back for long.

it was only last year that that the wife realised you didn't need a passport to go to the isle of man, when I told her,she thought I was winding her up

    you couldn't make it up.

  6. I have some 800 gram high stalking boots in leather & camo gortex, bought them in america last year for half the money, they were brilliant until I left them in front of the fire to dry off,........ melted is not the word, :good::good::stupid: apart from that great boots, very warm & comfortable to wear.

  7. I feel sorry for the ordinary bloke who's gonna take a knock ,but bankers, self employed builders, plasterers, electricans, gas fitters, plumbers, and car showrooms have ripped us off for years , they should be able to live very comfortably for years to come on what they have made in the last couple of years. :hmm::good::good:
