Having a clear out so offering up my Camo Wax Jacket and Lined Over Trousers. Size of Jacket is XL and the trousers are large. Trousers are elasticated plus have draw pulls on either side to tighten up. I'm a 38w and they fit me fine (probably do 36w - 40w)
The jacket has been worn by me for wet weather work and is very warm with knitted elastic cuffs. As you can see from the picture i've added one of the popper studs on one of the pockets has come off and has left a small rip (nothing that cant be fixed if you wanted to)
Plenty of life left in both items especially the trousers that have had very little use.
Bargain Price of £35 plus £6 p+p for both!
Payment Via PayPal or you can collect if your local to Retford, Notts
Cheers

Don't buy them buy a pair of Black Islander boots instead. Alot less maintenance and they won't cripple you trying to bed them in. Quality boots!

I have the SX3 in synthetic and you need to make sure the cartridges you use are 70mm in length and not the 65mm or 67mm as these do cause jams. This is stated in the manual.
Mine is chambered up to 3.5 inch and will cycle 28 gram loads in 70mm no problem. Awesome guns!
Hope this is of help to you.

I have just got a Remington 597 .22lr and tried to fit a scope a friend gave me. The scope came with a set of mounts but when I came to fitting it they were too big for the rifle's scope grooves.
Please could someone let me know the correct size mounts to buy if they have knowledge of this rifle.
Many Thanks

Please could you recommend a few decent high velocity .22lr to try in my new rifle to see which it likes best. Will be using on rabbits mainly.
Many Thanks

Many Thanks

Can anyone tell me anything about these moderated shotguns good or bad. I'd particularly like to know the best carts to use for quietness and the max range for clean kills on rabbits.
Many Thanks

Are they the same as these ones?
http://www.deepblueshooting.com/department...ts-sale-/428890
Yes they are the same as the ones in the link.
£199 is a cracking price for them but I've just looked and they only have size 10 1/2 and there will be postage on top of that.
Mine are the same in every way but size 9 and even cheaper.

These boots were bought as a gift by a relative that thinks I go on driven game shoots but i'm more of a pigeon and wildfowl shooter so always wear my rubber boots. I've worn them once and that was in the recent snow so they have not seen muck of any kind and the soles are unmarked as you would exspect.
Le Chameau Vatna boots sell for £235 in the shops and I'm asking for £175 and £10 p+p.
The new Vatna boot embodies all of the characteristic features of Le Chameau footwear; exceptional comfort, outstanding durability and understated style. The Vatna is a superior quality hunting boot for the discerning shooter who demands the best technology available, but wants to sacrifice nothing in terms of style and comfort. The suede leather outer gives it a natural, smart look.
The Chameau Vatna is fully lined with Gore-Tex® Partelana making it fully waterproof and breathable. A Cordura® side panel adds strength to the boot, increasing its resistance to brambles, whilst simultaneously reducing the weight. It also makes the boot extremely flexible and easy to wear. The boot is fitted with an integral protective stone guard and also features a removable PES insole. Finally, these Le Chameau Vatna boots takes advantage of a Vibram® sole, giving excellent foot support and superior grip over all terrains.
Gore Tex® (GTX):
Le Chameau uses Gore Tex® in it's footwear because it is one of the most durably waterproof an breathable products money can buy. It works from the inside of your footwear. The membrane is much like the skin, with its billions of tiny pores, it allows body moisture vapour ro escape whilst preventing water penetration. Your feet remain dry and comfortable, even in the wettest conditions.
Vibram®:
Vibram® is the worldwide leader in sole design for walking and mountaineering footwear. The company specialises in the manufacture of soles and can be distinguished by the distinctive yellow logo. The key benefits of Vibram® soles are: Extra protection around the toe that's ideal when climbing or walking uphill; Outstanding grip; Made from composite rubber material that's unbeatably resistant to wear; Lightweight and shock absorbing.

Please advise which ones to go for as I can't decide between the two. Reasons for and against.
Many Thanks

I can second that. Brake cleaner is what I use on my SX3 and it works great leaving it like new evertime.

I have the composite 3 1/2" with 26" barrel and I'd suggest putting no shorter than 70mm carts through it to avoid cycling issues. It will cycle clay loads of 28grm all day long without fault.
GREAT GUNS

Does anyone make a synthetic over and under 12g and are they any good?

I'm roost shooting throughout Febuary and because I use an semi auto I would like a cartridge I can find once it has been ejected. Last season I shot green cartridges and missed birds coming over me as I was looking for my spent cartridges. Could anyone please recommend a suitable cartridge that would be easy to pick up like ones in red. I usually shoot 30 or 32gm #6's and they must be 70mm to cycle in auto.

These were a gift this christmas but they are slightly too big for me. I have worn them three times clay pigeon shooting but need a snugger fit so intend to sell them and buy the same but in a smaller size. I would have taken them back and swapped them but I got too carried away on christmas day and binned the pack they came in plus I had no receipt.
Cost when bought new is £29.95
SOLD
Collection is also no problem

I'm selling my leather loaders cartridge belt as I just don't use it. I've worn it about five or six times so as you'd exspect it is in excellent condition. It holds 41 12g cartridges and can be worn on the outside of your shooting jacket with no problem. (Will fit the large or slim shooters)
Cost £60 when bought new.
SOLD
Collection is also no problem.

I have 10 pigeon sillosock decoys for sale, all in good order and come with the metal rods which they pivot on when pushed into the ground. There is one metal rod missing which I lost but anything similar could be used like a welding rod or bike wheel spoke. These decoys are excellent and will add movement to your pattern. Also sillosocks are made in Ultra Violet materials and pigeons see in UV so they are better than using the plastic decoys in my opinion.
You will see in the photo that 5 are heads up decoys and 5 are heads down (feeding) decoys.
These cost £5 each when bought new.
Selling for £25 plus £5 p+p. SOLD TO KILLER PIGEON
If you wish to collect them it is no problem.
