I am a keen nineteen year old male, living in South West Wales, where I am struggling to find any organised shooting. I don't particularly want to shoot, but I would like to help out beating or anything else that needed doing. I have shot since I was legally allowed so have experience, I have knowledge of how to safely handle guns and myself in these situations. If anyone knows of anything happening in South or Mid Wales please let me know, am willing to travel. Thanks

I wonder if any one can help me. My 1 year old lab has a tendancy to chase rabbits whenever there is one near and no matter what i do he will not come back untill he wants too. This is usually not a problem, recall is good any other time. I have never shown him to do this and it is not what i want. What can i do to stop him doing this ? Tweetypie

Thanks a lot Also if i want my dog to specifically flush one type of bird (snipe) wich is the best way to do it and is it possible. Or should i leve him hunt wat he wants.

I wounder if any one could help me i have got my 10 mounth old lab pup retrieving a dummy well, but i would like to know which is the best way to introduce game into his retrieve i.e snipe,pigeon and the odd rabbit. And should i wait untill he is a bit older.

I dont know mate. But you do hear that you shouldnt give your pup some food and some toys because they still have there puppy teeth. Whether these teeth fall out and adult teeth replace them like we do when we are young , i dont know.

Can anyone let me know if it's ok to let my 8 month old Lab chew toys etc or will this give him a hard mouth? Thanks

What are the best conditions for snipe, because the snipe around me have no pattern, they are never in the same place twice. One day they will be in wet feilds, in the middle off the fild were there is no cover. And then other days they will be rit tight to the hedge.
