  1. Folks Ive been searching for an old styled springer for years now but haven’t come across any. im looking for a pup for next year from the larger style of dogs that can work day on day out and are the size of modern labradors. does such a springer even exist anymore? Can anyone recommend a breeder? thanks
  2. My spaniel has the same issue.. He gets Previcox daily. Acupuncture/laser treatment when required and a course of cartrofen injections every 6 months.
  3. I know this topic will have been covered a million times before so apologies for boring everyone! My lab is 4 years old and has chewed up every bed he has ever ha in his kennel. He now sleeps on a rubber cow mat which I feel isn't ideal... Not much comfort in it and smells which in turn has the dog stinking. I have tried wood shavings for an equine suppliers but found that to be more wood chips which irritated the dogs skin. Any suggestions as to what the dog can sleep non which:- A. Can't be chewed. B. won't stink. C. Is warm with a degree if comfort. Cheers
  4. Ollie My springer had that op combined with a knee stabilisation recently. He had 12 weeks of cage rest and limited exercise. He is now back out and nearly fighting fit. I you drop me a pm if be happy to chat with you about it.
