They don’t report every dog attack or drunken brawl in England either, that’s my point. They’ve jumped on a chance to post a negative story about shooting.

They do post international news also, but usually only the big stories. This certainly is not.

Very negative reporting on golf as well ,I think I might make a complaint.

A bit far from Newquay, and I think they are only open on Saturday but there is Sky High Shooting ground near Holsworthy, and Tatson shooting ground nearby.Bradford ground is open for practice on Tuesday from 2 pm,that’s near Holsworthy too,Sport trap,Skeet and DTL.

Apologies didn’t read post properly though you wrote Torquay .

Used it in lead wildfowling loads and it did make a difference. As I now load steel, and will try TSS, there is no need for it. Not sure about Bismuth.

I think it’s become obsolete with steel ,shame as I just found some Bsb and mix 47 at the back of a cupboard.

  4.  They are as good as I’ve seen anywhere,I like using the collars sometimes it just puts a nice finishing touch .

I agree with you about the therapeutic side it’s a great way to empty the head for an hour or two.

Your thumb sticks using different wood tops is an idea I had thought about but not got around to ,top work.

    Not tested as such but....

BPI in 3 inch quote 14gr of lilgun and 5\8oz  TSS 15 in Cheddites hull for 1215ftsec and 12650psi which is near top end.

11\16 oz 3" lead loads using 13gr lilgun come in at 13,500psi (which is top end) for 1135ftsec

2.5" lead 1\2oz loads using 13gr of lilgun come in at an average of 11500 psi for 1200ftsec

13gr would be a safe place to be.

Thanks for that Stonepark would that be the same as TSS 18 but with further ,more or less packing for load  height ?

Thank you for the information I saw the post and the pictures that is amazing. As Gunman said I was unlikely to find much information on a small operation as Chamberlain. the Photo  of his storefront with the employees/relatives' standing in front of his  shop is more information than I expected. wonderful. A picture of the shop it most likely came from will accompany the gun when it passes on from my care and use. The new barrel sleeves were left with very tight chokes and a gunmaker i know opened them properly at my request so it may become my favorite woodcock chaser.  Again thank you Matone and Gunmaker.(picture from 2018 post)

Wouldn’t it be great to go back in time and spend an hour in a shop like that .

Another E,Chamberlain for sale ,looks to be nice quality .

Is there anyone on here who does the above, possibly in the south east (otherwise RFD charges a pain). Have bought a very reasonable Beretta 391 but stock could do with sorting at some point

Just whip the woodwork off and post it no need for Rfd.
