  1. Congrats mate, feels good doesnt it, i got my first permission last week. Lets just hope the woodies start to appear.
  2. Im looking at buying a cheap hammer sbs off a mate at the clay ground for a rough pigeon gun. One is a bates and one is a marco.does anyone know anything about these makes?what there worth.im only going to be paying £50 for one, both fit and i can shoot them. once hammers are cocked i take it you can uncock them by pulling them back?or do you hav to pull trigger with thumb on hammer so that it doesnt strike the firing pin hard enough. regards
  3. Cheers for that. this any good?its nice and cheap http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/500mA-Charger-for-6V...1QQcmdZViewItem

  5. Got my first bit of permission today , A family friend owns a farm about 20 mins away. They said theyd be glad of me going up because there spring drilling soon . Can give my magnet and peckers a trial. Going to go up soon and chat with them and get maps of boundaries etc. Also today i rang a large farm that i had a driven day on in january, said that id noticed a few large flocks of woodies when was there, the farmer said he talk to the others that shoot there and get them to ring me. so i could have got 2 bits of permission in a day , i may not get a call at all but the farmer sounded enthusiastic about it. so if theres people out there trying to get permission, stick at it. iv been without any for ages but it paid off in the end. Having BASC insurance was a help. I mite get some of the cards off ebay to drop round to people aswell. regards
